Luau in Maui was great. Food was wonderful. Entertainment was superb! The Prince Wiakiki Resort was beautiful. The food there was amazing!! The second resort on the big Island was a wonderful site. The cafe was lacking in help and ability to serve us food after a long day on our tour. There were no other options for supper except their small store. Not exceptable for the cost of the resort and out trip. The resort on Maui was very beautiful. Meals and friendliness of staff was great. Enjoyed the stay at Maui and maybe someday return there.

It would have been nice to know there was a beach close to the first hotel. The one hotel was so far from anything that there was not a lot to do. Loved the pool but you can only be there so long before getting burnt. Breakfasts were really good. I liked that we were busier at first and had more free time at the back half of the tour. The tour/bus driver to Pearl Harbor was great. Would have preferred a different option than the USS Arizona. Tours can be hard when something interests one person and not another- I would have liked to stay at the Palace about 15-30 min longer but everyone else was done. Loved the dinners, the two that were more buffet were excellent- the other 3 were great, options were almost identical though and I saw many people eating basically the same thing 3 times. Ann Marie was great - worked hard for the poor people stranded going to Hawaii. Appreciate the change of pickup at the end of our tough ride home.

We like watch the movie Pearls Harbor. Would like go thru sub marine but should have credit card to be able to see that's. Road from Hona wasn't really encouraged. Road was the best. We didn't get sick but we had ginger candy before we left. Didn't like the birds sat down on the plates next to hot food.Joseph Weigel

Fun tour with delightful tour companions. Most memorable: Pearl Harbor and the Arizona memorial on Oahu, and the Road to Hana on Maui. Chuck was an outstanding tour guide-- knowledgable, helpful, patient. All four islands were beautiful!

I enjoyed everything we toured, I didn't go to Hanah because of the winding road, I have motion sickness so it was suggested that I not go. I feel the "tour manager" could have included my companion and I a little bit more. I am elderly so I couldn't walk as fast, so we were left out of some of the conversations. We could have booked our own tour, but we wanted to be with other people. The "tour manager", Erin, all in all was great, was on top of everything, timing, transportation and etc. I liked Maui because of its beautiful flowers, Lauhah, and seeing the hump back whales. I wish there was more to do on the last day there. We weren't told of some other things we could have done or toured. We weren't overjoyed with nothing to do. Yes, we enjoyed the sun and beach, but it got to be a long day just doing that. Otherwise the trip was worth going on. Hope you offer another trip through the Monroe WI Senior Center. Thank you..

The accomodations were all great. The transfers between islands was excellent. There was no handling of luggage and boarding passes were given to us, no standing in line for these. Elizabeth the tour manager made the trip awesome. She was very knowledgeable about everything on the trip. This was very evident when we were on Maui and she became emotional about how the fires affected the island. She really loves her job. From Pearl Harbor to the awesome whale and turtle sightings right off the beautiful beaches, Road to Hana, Iao Vallley, and learning about the culture, this tour offers it all. Interaction with friends during meals in such a beautiful paradise. A Luau was planned with dance lessons and a big buffet we did get totally wet during a heavy pop shower. This was also my longest flight and biggest plane it was smooth both ways to Hawaii 8 1/2 hours going and 6 hours coming home..Steven Ragan

Our tour guide Erin was OUTSTANDING...professioal, yet entertaining and knowledgeable! The resorts overall were very nice... in one of the places, the beds were small. The food was good, buffet breakfast at once place was never warm. The excursions were wonderful... we got to see many wonderful places and I didn't have to get on a boat to see them!!! The luggage transfers were all done in a timely manner except at 1 hotel...Erin ended up doing the bulk of the work. There was a medical emergency with one of our tour guests, Erin and Collette handled it all like a pro...I was extremely happy to see the efficiency of it all! The island hop days were too long. We had to be up at 0600 to be ready to travel but didn’t get into hotel until 5:00- 7:00 - 4:00 pm exhausted and hungry. The day we were to leave for home we were told to be out of our room by 1100 but were asked to leave earlier. We had to wait 4 1/2 hours before bus pick up and then didn’t arrive home until the next day at 1100. I was very ill for a week. I loved the sights in Hawaii but the way the tour was laid out was very exhausting making it easy to get sick.

Pearl Harbor is impressive and so inspiring! A must for anyone traveling to o’ahu The big island offers so much cultural history. But my favorite memory was the sea turtles at volcano national park. Maui and the Road to Hana was amazing as were the humpback whales. Maui is a great place to unwind and relax.

Loved all the excursions that were included. One of my favorites was the coffee bean farm even though we experienced an earthquake while there. The accommodations were fabulous but the Outrigger Resort needed some chairs in the room to sit on—huge room, no sitting area. The food there, also, was rather blah, not very good. The food at the Prince Waikiki and the Sheraton was excellent. We loved our time in Maui but please don’t book a return flight that leaves 12 hours after having to check out of the hotel room. That was misery.

Erin our tour guide was excellent. The accommodations were all 5 star, I would recommend Collette and also if you could get our tour guide Erin to anyone. She was on top of every detail and ensured that the trip went off with out any glitches. Only time the weather didn't cooperate was when we were at the volcano, but mother nature ensured the rest of the trip that we had sun shine and warm weather. She certainly loves her job and such a gem to spend time with daily.❤️ I would have liked more options on our tour. The option offered to my group by Collette was the Road to Hana. What a fabulous trip with Mark who lives in Hana plus he is a biologist and was able to talk about the different growths due to environmental difference in that area. Recommend Mark as a local guide. I thought our trip was a very good value for what we paid. The tour manager was fantastic and went above and beyond to try to give everyone a great experience. He missed more than one dinner trying to take care of issues. I imagine many tours have inconsiderate people. Wesley Glass was endlessly patient. The hotels, especially Prince Waikiki, were wonderful. I have too many favorite memories to choose one. I would travel with Collette again anytime. I was very impressed.

Well organized and small group …. We enjoyed the people and our time traveling. Accommodations were very good… on the big island would like to someday see the Outrigger updated as they have a sensational spot. Loved it there. (They’re working on the outside but really should be working on the dated rooms interiors.) We thought Wesley was an excellent tour guide. The only thing we would like to see Collette engage in is some requirement for sick people on a tour to get tested and isolate. As we traveled through the week with a couple people sick , one very obviously coughing and sick. By end of trip sickness got one of us the last two days -positive for Covid. Unfortunately we had to isolate from the rest of the group activities ( which we felt was only fair to the rest of the group) while other sick was able to stay joined with the group because they never tested. But overall it was a great trip and we’re glad we extended a day to do Diamondhead— that was great and would definitely be a great addition to your itinerary.

Timing of island transfers. Have to be at the airport early in the morning and can't check into the next hotel until 3:00 in the afternoon missing a good share of the day. Departure times and travel day accommodations left many basically stranded for the day.

The tour was excellent but travel arrangements both coming and going were so terrible. We aren’t young people anymore and being awake for 32 plus hours is ridiculous. Other people knew to make their own arrangements and deduct the cost from the tour. We didn’t know that was an option.

The tour was amazing in every way possible, accomodations, itinerary, travel, transportation, drivers food but most of all our tour guide Julie. Julie went above and beyond to take care of every concern and request of every single guest. She communicated in a way that ensured everyone knew clearly what the days would entail, timing of everything clearly and all options we may have a long the way. Her kindness and consideration was to be envied by both myself and my husband. She added the personal touch to an already unbelievable agenda as well as accomodations. We were to be picked up at our home to go to airport, We waited, but Collette never picked us up or informed us we were not being picked up. After waiting and waiting and no help from Collette, we had to make our own arrangement to the airport, missed the flight, which resulted in our extreme trauma. We also not reasonably reimbursed or received an appropriate apology from Collette for this totally WRONG happening and experience. This was totally unprofessional, unsatisfactory and not acceptable. This situation had an adverse impact on total trip. The overall trip was only fairly enjoyable and failed to meet our overall expectations.. There were some enjoyable times and a few good memories. We thought the cost was overpriced based on what was received and our overall experience. We will have to think twice about Collette in the future, mainly based on our interactions with Collette and your overall attitude related to our BAD, non-acceptable experience.Marshall Friedman

Our Tour Guide, Chuck Tracey was fantastic! He truly cared about all the individuals that were on the tour. We shall treasure the monk seal drawing that he gave us at the end of the trip. Chuck Tracey was an excellent tour director. He made his room available to those people who had to leave their hotel rooms at noon on the 19th. Cimo, the bus driver, did an outstanding job of telling us about the past and present history of Hawaii. He and Chuck work well together. Experiencing the volcano and seeing the magma was a highlight of my trip. Being on the U.S.S. Arizona was a solemn, heartfelt thank you to those men and women who gave their lives at Pearl Harbor and serving in World War II

I thought the hotel accommodations on the Big Island were just okay and expected better. A lot of stops were to buy candy and cookies which was considered a part of the excursion experience. The travel guides (bus drivers) where adequate. They tended to talk to much about their families on long tour rides. Anne was very personable but mediocre as our tour guide. I did like her enormously as a personality. Should allow for one day where you have beach time; though my wife and I took a day off from touring to enjoy the beach in Maui.Ronald Randle

Too much "free time." Unable to go on local tours. Hotels too isolated. Wife had a nasty fall at Waikiki Airport shuttle-to-hotel location, due to unsafe curbs and lack of safety signs and markings. Doctor took X-rays; bruises, twisted shoulder, and fractured finger. Poor airline choices, not worth the cost.Albert Iamele

Actually two of my favorites were activites that were not part of the tour, but were facilitated a bit by Cory.... I found some surf lessons and the manta ray tour right next to the hotel in Kona was AWESOME. Oh yeah, I hiked up Diamond Head too :) Loved finding the sea turtles, also took a whaling tour, snorkeled. The one thing that I was disappointed by was the brevity of the stops at Iolani Palace and the King Kahmeamea statue in Honolulu. When I saw them listed on the itinerary, I skipped going to them on my early day. But we just drove past them--I wanted to go in. Also wish I would have seen the Bishop museum. The only two problems were changing the air travel (which, admittedly, I did twice and the second time was pretty late) but it was treated as non-urgent even when the trip was approaching and the WiFi went out in the hotel. Even on vacation, I need to be able to get an internet connection or risk losing a lot of $$$ (I called down to the front desk and was told there was nobody there until the morning--all they needed to do was to reset the router... can't remember for sure which hotel this was at but I think it was the outrigger on Kona?)

Two of the hotels were excellent. The third one was below par, the rooms were musty, and I suspect moldy since I became ill after one night in this location. The timing of the included tours was faulty. It was either rush, rush and unless you participated in the extra tours there was too much down time with lack of options given by the guide.

I was on hold for 4 hours trying to get my trip scheduled, got several different prices, book was confusing as to whether plane fair was included or not included, it was not. I scheduled through a Senior Center, that was not promoting the trip at that time, I had found I could schedule Collette trips without waiting for Senior Center to Promote them. Was told a Manager would be right with me, while I was on hold and the Manager took another call before me AFTER I was told they would talk to me next.

Our tour manager made our tour. She had been with the company 26 years and we think that said a lot about both her and Collette. When we were concerned about how we were going to manage on the last day as we had a 11:00 a.m. checkout but a 10:45 p.m. flight. She arranged for us to have access to a courtesy room so that we could enjoy the day on a snorkel cruise and have a place to store our bags and later get a shower and clean up before dinner and departing for the airport. I'm sure we couldn't have managed that alone and it really made that last day easy and special.Arthur
